1. About these terms

These terms apply to every quote, booking and job carried out by Ampera Electric, and to your use of this website. By booking us or using the site you agree to them.

2. Quotes and pricing

All quotes are fixed price and valid for 30 days. If the scope of work changes on site, we will explain the difference and get your approval before continuing. Prices include labour, materials and any safety certificates unless the quote says otherwise.

3. Bookings and access

When you book, please make sure we can reach the work area and the switchboard. If we cannot get in, or the job needs more preparation than planned, we may need to rebook the visit.

4. Cancellations

Please give at least 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel a booked appointment. Late changes may include a small callout fee.

5. Our work and safety

All work is carried out by licensed electricians and meets local regulations. Where required, we issue a compliance certificate when the job is complete. For your safety, power may need to be switched off for short periods while we work.

6. Warranty

We guarantee our workmanship for 12 months from the completion date. If something is not right, tell us and we will come back and fix it at no cost. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, later changes by others or normal wear.

7. Payment

Payment is due on completion unless agreed otherwise in writing. Larger projects may be invoiced in stages, and each invoice shows what it covers.

8. Emergency callouts

Our 24/7 emergency service is charged at an out of hours rate, which we will confirm before we start. Making a place safe comes first, and any follow up repairs are quoted separately.

9. Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out. We carry full public liability insurance on every job. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer law.

10. Using this website
